Actually Surandy, I think all your permits are affected.
Italy has over 23 marine procterates. This will be very interesting for Key.
The two adjoining permits d341C.R.-.PU and d342C.R.-.PU sit in the "Isole Pelagi", which is a protected marine area in Italy. The marine area protects the area surrounding the three islands - Lampedusa, Lampione and Linosa. Those 2 permits sit directly within that area.
Here is some background: Of particular ecological concern in the islands is the protection of the Loggerhead Turtle (Caretta caretta) which is endangered throughout the Mediterranean as a result of its nesting sites being taken over by tourism. In Italy the beaches of Pozzolana di Ponente on Linosa and Isola dei conigli on Lampedusa are the last remaining sites where the turtle regularly lays its eggs. The Area Marina Protetta Isole Pelagie nature reserve, covering all three islands, was instituted in 2002.
If this ban remains in place those 2 permits - worthless.
West Sardinha is located next to a protected marine zone and very close the coast. Elba South lies directly in the protected marine area "Santuario per i mammiferi marini".
This does not look good for Keys offshore permits, given the 12 mile buffer zone surrounding protected marine areas.
Going to be very interesting...
