One sentence in the remuneration section of the annual report should have been adequate for any potential investor to run screaming for the door:
"Given the nature of an exploration and producing mining company, the Company has historically not judged performance by financial measures but by operational aims such as safety, environmental and production". For the uninitiated this is code for "We intend to keep paying ourselves handsomely even if we continue to make massive losses".
