"And Reading, it's a new ceo in Alistair Cowen, who has a good record in getting things done."
That's great, lets look at the last Quarterly and two or three lines specifically.
4th Paragraph into the Doc, "The company aims to make a decision on the development of Outokumpu project in May 2010 and will release details ...."
2nd Paragraph in the section titled "Outokumpu area projects", "The company is finalising engineering studies and intends to make a decision on commencement of operations in May 2010."
Last Paragraph under the same title, "The company expects to complete the update and integration of the Kylylahti and Luikonlahti studies in the June quarter and will announce all technical outcomes...".
All the above extracts were taken from the Quarterly announcement in March 2010, released to the ASX 28/04/2010.
In the latest announcement 18/06/2010, it is all about an exciting NEXT quarter, September, as studies "NEAR" completion. And, the update to the study commenced in February is EXPECTED to be completed early next quarter, being September.
I think March is close to May so why release announcements that say May when it isn't May but July, August OR September?
He might like to get things done but he might like to proof read what he thinks he is going to do prior to releasing announcements.
In this market it's better to under estimate and over achieve than it is to over estimate and under achieve. Missing deadlines will slowly kill a share price (URL now 1c!).
