Well we haven't seen the bidders statement from Campbell Bros, probably worked out the chances are zero with the $3.35 offer.
I think that CPB havent given the game away though and are probably sharpening the pencil for one more go. They've got just over $100m in the kitty but I think for an increased offer they will resort to scrip. I'm thinking that they will move from the 2 for 17 to an offer around 1 for 7. At today's price of $29 that equates to $4.14 and that could really have shareholders interested.
We will know in the next week either way, but if they think Ammtec is too expensive at $4+, they have the option to withdraw the bid and maybe build their own metallurgical business.
Something that Ammtec shareholders wouldnt be worried about seeing this new building going up.
