    aip,

It is not the first time that I have written to both the ASX and ASIC. Believe me.

But, since I moved to my new farm, I am having a hell of a lot of problems with Telstra about getting my E-mail and proper internet connection going. Optus is just as bad because they have to rely on Telstra exchanges to give you the service. It has been nearly 5 months now, and I am still waiting and arguing with them.
I have tried the wireless conncetion but unfortunately it is very unrealiable and constantly drops out. It now appears that my complaint has been allocated to a case Manager. So we will find out, hopefully soon.

Luckily I still own the previous place/farm and I have my desktop computer still there. The point is that it is at least 20 miles away for every time that I have to retrieve or send an E-mail.

Tomorrow I am going to Sydney and will be there for a few days. When I come back, depending on the time I will have available (I still run a few farms and the time is a scarce commodity these days. Hence why I mainly post in HC in the night time when I try to relax and have a quite cuppa), I will try to write to them and see what response I will get in regard to this issue. The point remains though, that if I want to get my E-mails I would still have to travel the 20 miles to get there, and 20 miles back.

Life in the country is quite enjoyable and I wouldn't have it any other way. But, there are some prices to pay. And this is one of them. At least it gives me an incentive to get up in the morning and doing things. Many people of my age would just think of sitting on the front verandah and read the daily Newspapers or going into Town to a coffee lounge and drinking Latte. Not for me thanks..!!!

When I think that it is time for a break, I just get on a plane and off I go.

As for AOE, don't get me wrong. I am standing to make an excellent profit on my original investment and some of it it can even be totally Tax free. But, that is not the point of the issue. The point is that IMHO we have been had and I am extremely disappointed that we have not proceeded to grow this company tom it's full potential, and hopefully receiving some fully franked dividends. I always looked forward for AOE becoming another WPL.

By the way, Shell failed dismally with WPL at the time.... could that reoccurr...??? With Petrochina pouring in funds, it is unfortunate but, I don't think so.

    Good luck to all,

    Buddy
