But over the years COF has shown to be very reliable in divis payments.... If it did have temporary cashflow problems, this would likely lead to potentially future rockbottom prices of COF which would lead to an excellent opportunity for averaging down or in my case entry? But im guessing its easy to speculate and say "hey this is a good buy" because with COF i thought i wouldnt got below $1.80 originally. Otherwise my views on COF long term are that it will live to fight another GFC but finding a good entry is another thing. There is word that international engineering companies are going to get hit hard from the RSPT but also the loss in commodity prices chain reacting and affecting the demand for COF's service. My opinion is that we are potentailly looking at temporary profit downgrades which is likely to lead to dramatic panic but excellent opportunities if your able to recognise a deal and maintain a position. The announcements of accumilation are somewhat suggesting that employees are seeing the company as undervalued which is also reassuring.
What do people think overall?
Cheers,
GC
