re: ian _whitchurch to b2
Hi Ian. Thank you. I may not have made myself clear. I do not like being in before the drills . However your figures would not be correct as If I liked the result then I would be in quickly, after the announcement. The salvation of having sold pre Arwon works the other way too. Sold at $1.30 and could buy back now a lot more share s with that money . Being generous at say todays price $0.85 , means one can buy another 52 % more shares , work it out yourself please. That is very meaningfull Ian.Now we did have very Keen Arwon people on HC telling us how good it would be etc.I was somewhat alone if you remember and as it turned out it was a correct decision like the one eyed man in the land of the blind. To be in the shares over the drill times is risky in my opinion.I think that a share price fall of 34% or there abouts , a loss of shareholder value, in effect is not very good and I should have thought that the management will not think much to it either. This loss we are talking about is a Big figure.Shares are investments and they should be viewed as such.I suggest that you look at it my way for a change and say work out the figures properly. One knows when the drills are happening and if they are good then Buy immediately say at market, there would still be plenty of profit left. You mention OEX 7 Sept 04 . One could have bought a load of shares at 30 cents after the announcement . Even the next day without a risk of if they had hit it or not .Even hDR 17 May 01 at say 72 cents would have given a good profit . Not losses remember as One is not in over the drills. The only logical way to be in over the drills IMHO is if one is a Clairvoiant and know that the oil will be found for sure . I am sorry to say that OI do not have that ability so I will buy after the drill has hit the oil and thus avoid Massive losses like this recent performance by STU.I have spent some time with you as I believe that you are a genuine fellow and NOT a Ramper and that you believe in what you say , however so does B2 and you have my ideas . Best wishes Ian and thanks for your reply.B2
