As you said, this is 'smart' money that has been buying this morning, and most likely (in the usual lead-up to Giralia announcements) due to an immenent announcement coming through. What I mean by 'smart' money is that its not just your regular retail traders pushing this stock higher.

We started to see the increase in buy-depth interest late Wednesday afternoon and again throughout all of yesterday at the 19.5c level. There have been some large accumulations of stock.

As 'Biggest' also suggested, the 22c barrier is a bit of a milestone for GIR. If it breaks that through an announcement then it will be interesting to watch.
