re: Ann: Campbell Bros. Intends Making Offer ... Alonso, Agree, But opportunistic in the sense that Campbells have not done the rounds of AEC senior management of sounded out major shareholders - they have litereally taken advantage of market conditions - and good luck to them.

I will continue to hold but i cannot see a competitive situation emerging - unless market sentiment radically improves. If i had been asked same questions a couple of months ago I would have replied that this might interest a private equity crowd (sum of AEC parts could exceed the whole) - but not now, especially with the added uncertainty of the new tax.
