A nice mention in todays Age...at last the beginning of an exciting episode for AQD fans!
"GARIMPEIRO mentioned explorer AusQuest (ASX:AQD) as recently as April 19 on the strength of its push into gold exploration in Burkina Faso, West Africa.
The idea there was that a well-positioned West African gold property can be a ticket for dramatic sharemarket re-ratings, given the region's ability to yield multimillion-ounce resources in quick fashion.
AusQuest was trading at 17 a share at the time, and it has since moved on to all of 18 a share on news that drilling in Burkina Faso had started. It's a decent program too, with eight gold targets to be put to the test over the next three months.
Add the news flow from that program to that to come from manganese, nickel and gold/copper exploration programs in Western Australia in the months ahead, and AusQuest is in for a potentially exciting year."
