I agree with you that ETG may become more attractive to Australian investors. I know that with the proposed tax changes I am looking elsewhere than Oz.
I think that the share price will be supported to encourage acceptance of the bid.
I will vote against it. It is not fair and so I will express my thoughts regarding this. With less than 200k of shares it won't matter, but I will have had my say.
I will probably email the company and tell them my thoughts.
