re: Ann: Exploration permit status granted of...Considering they own 100% or JV could be introduced I have a GOOD feeling that something might come of this and it could be a good area for them or know something?
Radioactivewhale, you make a very interesting point here: According to the ann, the Lampedusa blocks are in a 'prime location lying on the Pelagian Shelf' - extension of the Tunisian and Lybian basins. Well, something that Ted Ellyard seems to be quite definitely familiar with must be the North African waters. Just a look into an old article:
"TED ELLYARD'S track record speaks for itself. During his eight-year tenure as chief executive of Hardman Resources, the company's value soared from $5 million to $1.5 billion.
That growth was underpinned by Hardman's lead role in the Mauritanian oil and gas discoveries. It was Ellyard that first introduced Shell, and then Woodside, to Mauritania when its oil potential was very much frontier stuff." http://www.theage.com.au/news/business/hardmans-success-may-hold-the-key-for-key-petroleum/2007/03/18/1174152881196.html
That may explain the 100% ownership!
I have a good feel about all that. We got a green light just a day after the South Stream gas pipeline contract was signed (dragged for years) between Russia and Italy, and France also got a share of the pie, and I hope that's a lucky omen lol...
