This is strictly not true. SEVPC holders only rank ahead of Kerry Stokes the shareholder. NOT I repeat NOT Kerry Stokes the creditor. It only takes a wee bit of imagination and some financial engineering to transfer the wealth in Seven to Kerry Stokes the creditor. The numerous ongoing related party transactions (which I will elude to in my next few articles) sets this up nicely.
I lost the plot after TELYS2. For those SEVPC (TELYS3) holders who are wondering whether it will ever get redeemed at $100. Sorry to disappoint but I have to agree with 2ic. There is not a hope in Hell that it will ever get redeemed. Never ever! All this chatter about will it get redeemed?, will it not? Looks like the cash in Seven is heading towards WesTrac to pay down its debt. I hope you guys don't fall into the 'Telstra trap'. Buying something for its yield only to see the share price drop over time.
