Maybe I am nave, but I ask this question Why are we not joining forces and making complaints to the ASX, ASIC, ACCC and anyone else who matters
It appears to me we are NOT united, some posters have complained but, alone it's very easy for the above to dismiss the complaint, and the complainant eventually goes away. Who cares!
And, don't worry, politicians, the above and TV networks know about this trading, they need a jolt to make them stand up and take notice, TOGETHER we can do it and expose this for what it is, unfair trading practices.
It's a well known fact that minority views have real clout when they are united and keep their cause up in front of the public. We are the minority for now, but if we unite someone is eventually going to listen and start questioning the disadvantage we as small traders are up against.
I am no lawyer, but it appears to me from the posts (not always a good start on legal opinions) I have been reading this trading methods is unfair, illegal or just on the borderline on legal, either way algorithmic trading needs to be exposed to the public and the question of fairness asked, it's really that simple, if it's illegal then prosecutions need to commence, and the watchdogs removed.
Our politicians need to start protecting the public from banks, instos, brokers etc, (toss in some directors of our companies too) manipulating the price of securities is not the level playing field it should be, we are being screwed every day, we know it and we are doing nothing. United we have a chance to change and make new laws, alone we don't stand a chance, as one voice someone is going to listen, eventually!
I end as I began, am I being nave with my question.
My email address if anyone is interested getting organised is [email protected]
