I was also flicking past some other posts and this post by Legume on 16/11/2009 seems to be ominous in terms of what is actually happening now in relation to the capital raising and payments to UKI:

The contracts that they keep referring to are most likely phoney, just go through the previous contracts they've announced, go through their accounts and there is only one conclusion that one can come to... utter baloney. My take on the latest payment is either they've received the monies from a dummy company with the intent of redirecting the payment back to it in the future or it's just been made up (like a lot of the drivel that's been touted by management - nothing quite like a company desperately trying to keep a scam alive).

The claimed counterparty to the china gas tank project is a huge issue. This isn't the first time they've signed on a phoney contract. The game shall be up soon enough I hope, and offending person's punished.
