    Jimmy,

Unfortunately back then they were very much still experimenting with the best completion methods. The thinking at the time was completing the wells with a slotted liner and letting them flow from natural fractures.

Kennedy was originally thought to be in the chalks but was later revealed to be mostly in the Eagleford shale.

The current thinking is cemented liner with multi-staged fracs using a slickwater method...Hilcorp certainly seem to be nailing it at the moment.

As you say the result from Kennedy was brilliant and I am looking forward to seeing how both Kennedy and Weston both clean up and perform once the production tubing is installed.

Have a look at how swift have changed both their drilling and completion designs below:

Cant wait for Hilcorp to crack open Easley and we see what the new drill aimed between the chalk and shale with cemented liner can do with a multi-stage slickwater frac.
