Do NOT share this view at all. As johnno8 correctly has mentioned, GBP will soar if they strike oil (chance of this happening is fairly good), but certainly will not soar to lofty levels BEFORE the outcome is certain ! All JIMHO, of course.
I am pleased to hold a small stake in GBP, as the upside in case of a strike is very good indeed and the area where they drill is full of potential.
