DILI — East Timor and Australia failed over three days of negotiations ended Wednesday to reach an agreement on demarcation of their maritime border in the oil- and gas-rich Timor Sea.

Prime Minister Mari Alkatiri told reporters the failure comes from the differing approaches taken by the two countries. (Kyodo News)
