IMO, the company does not have to disclose whether the Chinese debtor has been paid up. They are only required to present financial statements which provide a true and fair view of their state of affairs and performance. They are not required to report the make up of individual debtors.
However they are required to write down any non-recoverable receivables, and the auditors will review this, so one way or the other, we will find out if the money has come in.
