Hi,
I just asked the mods to raise a new ticker for the tipping competition so that posts as good as yours are not swept off the DJIA thread without receiving the recognition that everyone should benefit from, plus being confident to contribute their own views without being swept away so soon.

Hi mods,

a situation has arisen where topical discussion of factors surrounding the Dow and hence world markets in general is suppressed by the threat of going un-noticed on the DJIA thread.
This is due to the popularity of the overnight tipping competition which was born out of the DJIA thread some months ago. Both threads are of course required as one feeds off the other and they enhance each other, which is why I propose raising a new custom ticker for the competition thread which is easy to go from one thread to the other, namely, > DJPIN < and is self explanatory in name. It will also raise the status of the tipping comp by having its own space.

There are comments in the DJIA threads surrounding this move and today is a good example of discussion posts having been swept away by the popularity of the overnight tipping.
