Fairly decent drill numbers at Hicks which looks eminently mineable when they find more ounces to justify an operation....nonetheless 290,000 ounces is a nice start....its wide open along strike and at depth should easily double or triple + another 30km of strike to explore. Like a lot of West African deposits it would be one of many deposits along a 10-20km strike e.g. Chirano, Prestea, Obuasi, Bogosu.
Some big holes - 400meters diameter at Kaburi dug by artisnal miners, i.e. guys using sluice boxes with no milling of the ore so about 10-20% gold recovery in my experience. Last 14 yr production from the top 30 meters = 18,000 ounces so based on that and the recovery factors anywhere between 90,000-180,000 ounces worth of dirt has been moved and dumped as tailings....not to mention prior production over the previous 90 years. That looks like it could be a million ounces right there within 100-200m of surface. And its sitting in a big 4.5 x 2km geochem anomaly, which remains to be explored.
Also 100km strike of major mineralised structures to be explored right next door to the 3.7Moz Omai gold mine.
Looks like a slightly early stage Ampella / Gryphon duplicate.
Big potential here.
