A number of thoughts:
OIP sees itself as primarily conventional O&G and this will consolidate that approach. Its CSG prospects (and interests post ESG farmin) are relatively small and may be better in someone elses hands .. like ESG eventually.
Its rather a case of the old boys network though .. GGX was I think set up by Dennis Morton and he is a major shareholder (as he is in OIP).
