Ok. The reason I kept asking is because Rak and others didn't address the 'penny stock' angle. Of course large stocks attract large money. I didn't know if tiny penny stocks in Australia do that too. In the US they don't. Pure and simple. Unless there is something very very significant. In fact, it is highly unusual for a stock trading under 10 cents to attract even $1 million in a day of trading on exciting sounding news--and there are plenty of speculating traders in the US.
That's why I'm blown away by this volume and am continuing to ask the same question until I get a clear answer. I assume from your answer that every week there is at least one stock on the Australian exchange that trades for 10 cents or less that pulls in $10 million of trader money on some kind of exciting news?
