    Agree gutzeit,

DataTrace is more applicable for the actual commodity, where as barcodes are for the packaging.

A few years ago, ddt were involved in trials for the application of DataTrace DNA into explosives (may have been Orica or DynoNobel - can't recall - please dyor). The trials revealed that the DNA could be traced after an explosion using their tracker. Imagine the potential for that application alone from a security point of view. Never heard extensive results of how the trials panned out or whether a deal proceeded. Mind you, such a deal may need to be kept quiet.

Again, so much potential but little on delivery.

Hopefully these guys can sort themselves out and start to realise some of the massive potential this product alone has.

The dots are a seperate but related business activity and should have been more heavily promoted to the equipment industries to generate cashflow. Their reliance on the auto industry was exposed as a result of the gfc and vanishing auto sales.

The announcements of the last few days read as though the light bulb has finally come on and they are doing something about restoring shareholder value.

I think it is more about survival for a few of the board members and management, in view of the backlash that is brewing in the lead up to the agm.

    Cheers,
    Mac
