"purged" means that your order will be cancelled and you will still have your shares.
The purge is usually done by ETRADE at about 7:15 to 7:30AM on the following day and processes all order cancellation instructions which were made during the 4:00 - 4:10PM "auction" or after the 4:10PM close.
