I am in two minds too but about a different issue because CGT works differently for non-residents.
I am wondering whether I should wait and receive whatever LLC decides to pay out, possibly 38c as you said or something above or below that figure OR whether to sell out sometime later this week should the price hit 31c and reinvest elsewhere whilst prices are still relatively low.
It is tempting to go with the latter because it is highly unlikely that some of the other stocks this money could go to will still be trading at such a discount come the end of the year, so If I was to wait for the payout I might not have anything to invest in. The same cannot be said about right here and now so I am more than likely to pull the pin should the share price hit 31c over the coming days.
