The gas pipeline from Songo Songo to Kenya is likely to give a speeding ticket to all the exploration and commercialisation activities in the region, and very likely to help KEY live the 12c mark in the past for good :))))
Here we have some very reassuring news from the leaders of the two countries who held meeting yesterday (could that be the reason for the the other day trading activity?)

Tanzania, Kenya for stronger ties:
'Kenya and Tanzania yesterday re-affirmed their commitment to strengthening regional economy by encouraging free movement of people, trade and investments across their borders.
............
He (Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga) encouraged Tanzanian investors and businesspeople to explore the Kenyan market as a way of mitigating the trade imbalance which is in favour of Kenya.
................
He pointed out that the two countries could further benefit from modern and efficient infrastructure citing the development of the Songo Songo gas plant in Tanzania with a transmission line to Kenya, exchange of expertise for development of geothermal power plants and improvement of road network between the two countries as classic examples.'
