One of the regulatory procedures that South Africa is very sticked on, is the countries fish import licencing. Fish and seafood products shipped into the country for commercial purposes as food for direct human consumption or further processing is not taken lightly, there are many requirements and complexitys.
The main concern is disease, if fish escape from penes or enclosures into rivers and lakes the ramifications for contaminating other fish stocks is huge.
I understand that CAQ has been given the necessary approvals and licencing, remember that when CAQ export their fingerlings thay go into a land based facility so everything is contained.
One more approval box ticked I think we are very close for this facility given the go-ahead $20 million dollers, IMO
the share price will go off like a stick of dynamite when South Africa says START.....
