After the experience i had with macquarie a few years ago, as a rule, i don't go anywhere near anything they are involved in. Nor do I read their research which i get access to.
I feel for everyone involved in CEU. I was once a true believer too. About 18 months ago i wanted to go overweight with them in my super, but my super wouldn't allow me to be overweight in a specific stock. What a great rule that has turned out to be. I got out a touch lower than today's price to find something better. It is amazing to think that forecasted figures can be SO wrong. How does this happen? Some serious questions need to be asked on all fronts. Personally, there are better ways of getting your money back. I can't see CEU shooting back over a $1 for a long time. However, there are still undervalued stocks out there with plenty more potential.
Once again, i feel for the mum and dad shareholders that thought it would be a great idea to support such a great project. I suppose things could be worse. You could have bought 1 million shares in briscon. That is another story!!!
