I denote a real sense of despair around LGL, esppecially in view of the possible unreal expectations the market has had about gold futures. On another stock (BBI) I read the post that "In accordance with BKI's investment strategy, there is an expectation from companies in which we invest
that they continue to pay dividends over the long term." In the absence of dividends from LGL, I see them as a dead loss to the shareholder, and even more so given the poor performance of the SP. Perhaps this in part reflects the lack of dividends despite record gold production. Is it all just to keep the LGL executives on large remuneration packages, while they build their egos seeking expansion at the expense of the shareholder. Who should come first here? I am close to saying sayonara to LGL.
