WestThx I remember hearing them say about the gas paying the bills and oil generating the profits also at an AGM a couple of years back.
With LNG though, that paradigm could well shift as well as the push for greener power generation in Aus. QLD gas reserves will play an important role for accessing this gas. Conventional gas will also warrant a premium to it's CSG partner IMO.
Therefore there could well be very good price upside to the price MOS currently sells into established contracts. Also I remember reading in company reports that MOS gas reserves could produce at the same rate for something like 50 years.
I still believe in the long term value on offer. I recently sold down the majority of my holding at 15.5c as I saw short term downside due to a possible capital raising (my opinion only).
Will look to re-enter on news of a capital raising or further share price weakness.
