re: Ann: Renounceable Entitlement Offer to Sh... Most recent announcement by Maurel & Prom regarding Mafia Deep indicates that they are still very confident about the degree of success.
To quote M&P, the corking of cement was required as "security measures for the levels of gas discovered".
Next month they plan to commence a new exploration well in the Delta Rufiji which "would possess the same potential as Mafia Deep ST-1".
The more gas that is found in the region, the more the big players will be attracted. This is only the beginning.
