Also I question the 3 week rule for Directors.
The biggest issue, as I understand it, is the companies own rules rather than any imposed.
Directors can not always be aware of sensitive news. I know that sounds a bit silly, but think of a case like BHP where Directors are more about the big picture and dont always know what goes on around the place.
