geez beaver - bit tough - I hate to here of anyone losing money in the market, but it is the nature of the beast that losses are inevitable - and no share is safe these days

the idea of a balanced portfolio wouldnt have helped anyone who invested 18 months ago - losses across the board - so despite what the experts say, timing is important and whether you are a trader or investor, stop losses are vital.

and as for screaming market manipulation, if CBH have finally made a string of positive announcements, to then announce a capital raising to 'institutional and sophisticated' investors at a large % to the current share price, then yes, I would call it manipulative

but of course, we wont know the outcome until tomorrow - this trader will either be lighter on in capital or smiling and selling at a profit and looking for the next trade - red or black, odds or evens
