Just downloaded it through the Itunes store, its free and it gives you $2.00 credit.
It seems that there is no way to add funds to your account via the phone and you will need to obtain a password for the website top up.
The instant messaging does not exist yet even though they state it does. use on WiFi only.
should allow you to connect via carrier if no wifi available.
will help but a fair way to go to catch the skype app.
