I think the analysts name was Bendan - just casting my mind back to one of those post-results broadcasts that Kirk did - I seem to remember the guy introducing himself, and (if my memory - and notes - serve me correctly, his questions were around how soon the franking credits would be used). I think the guy was never in the for long haul, unlike Hunter Hall who I think will stay there until this thing meets similar ratios to the broader market.

Very thin at the moment. Suspect one or two people have taken the view of "why invest in something that doesn't move", particularly when the broader market has plenty of spaces to park their money.

I will reenter at 30 I think. Tempting at 32, but with the thin market (and o/s volatility) I reckon I could be a chance at that price. Either way, I am breathing a sigh of relief than my "short term exit" appears to be well timed. Still a bit nervous re the H1/09 numbers - couple of things to watch out for (think COR will rise in line with rising claims and cat costs, and think investment income will fall as a result of credit curve shifts over H1).

    Take care.
