http://www.imxsoftware.com/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- FNB BOTSWANA IMPLEMENTS IMX SOFTWARE --------------------------------------------------------------------- [Johannesburg, 15 April 2002] - In a drive to deliver market-leading customer service and streamlined business processes, First National Bank of Botswana (FNB Botswana) is implementing a retail foreign exchange system from IMX Software. --------------------------------------------------------------------- IMX Software is the global leader in retail foreign exchange solutions with more than 80 customers in 10 countries. The FNB Botswana implementation is being done by IMX South Africa, the regional office of IMX Software Australia. --------------------------------------------------------------------- “IMX SA offered us a one-stop solution combining the rich capabilities of their product with comprehensive integration services. This allowed us to achieve an aggressive implementation programme - from contract signature in November 2001 to an integrated installation in March 2002,” says Alex Park, Assistant Managing Director, FNB Botswana. --------------------------------------------------------------------- FNB Botswana chose the ISS front-office product for its branches and dealing room, and IMX BackOffice for rate management, centralised administration and control and management reporting. --------------------------------------------------------------------- “It is vital to our business that we are able to respond rapidly to the volatility in the market,” says Eddie Rall, Head of Treasury, FNB Botswana. “The IMX system allows us to have real-time updates of our currency exposure and provides us with a consolidated view of stock holdings in our branches. We offer a full range of retail forex products, including travellers cheques, foreign cash, drafts and money transfers - all core products within the IMX software. In addition, we have created products specific to our Treasury Department using the product configuration facility in the package.” --------------------------------------------------------------------- IMX SA configured the software for FNB Botswana’s business rules, assisted in the re-design of business processes, developed all required product extensions and provided project management and training. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Susan Harvett, General Manager of IMX SA, comments: “As a development centre for the parent company in Australia, we build all extensions to the product and interfaces to legacy systems in SA - providing benefits in cost, turnaround-time and support to our customers in the region.” --------------------------------------------------------------------- The IMX team is currently on-site in Botswana, finalising installations at the last of the rural branches - a task which is expected to be complete by mid-April 2002. --------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMERZBANK AUTOMATES ITS BANKNOTE AND PRECIOUS ME --------------------------------------------------------------------- Melbourne, Australia – September 2001. The IMX WCS system has been implemented at Commerzbank AG for their Banknote and Precious Metals operation in Frankfurt, Germany. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Commerzbank AG one of Europe’s leading banks dates back more than 130 years. Its distribution of banknotes, one of the founding functions of any retail bank, along with deposits and loans, forms a proud part of this banks history. --------------------------------------------------------------------- POWERLAN INVESTMENT IN IMX --------------------------------------------------------------------- July 03, 2001 Today IMX Software Group announced that Powerlan, an Australian publicly listed technology company, has made an investment in IMX. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Although it will be business as usual at IMX, this investment will allow IMX access to resources and technical infrastructure to better meet its clients needs and expand our operations globally. --------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.asx.com.au/data/Shortsell.txt --------------------------------------------------------------------- Net Short Positions as at End of Day 02-05-2002 --------------------------------------------------------------------- (No responsibility is accepted for any inaccuracies contained in the matter published) --------------------------------------------------------------------- ASX Reported Short/ Short Sell % Short/ Code Company Name Borrowed Volume Limit Borrowed ABC ADELAIDE BRIGHTON LTD 253,337 47,370,899 .05 ADB ADELAIDE BANK LTD 85,627 8,791,435 .09 ADP AMP DIVERSIFIED PROPERTY TRUST 1,010,410 48,821,462 .20 ADZ ADSTEAM MARINE LTD 808,589 22,587,238 .35 AGH AUST GROWTH PROPERTIES LTD 0 30,162,988 .00 AGL AUST GAS LIGHT CO () 62,511 38,215,531 .01 AHD AMALGAMATED HLDGS LTD 0 12,431,424 .00 AIP AMP INDUSTRIAL TRUST 356,330 35,293,600 .10 AIX AUST INFRASTRUCTURE FUND 80,958 14,835,855 .05 ALL ARISTOCRAT LEISURE LTD 863,494 45,248,753 .19 ALU ALTIUM LTD 1,592 8,763,122 .00 AMC AMCOR LTD 1,256,102 65,894,818 .19 AMP AMP LTD 179,624 113,530,331 .01 ANN ANSELL LTD 0 18,704,820 .00 ANZ AUST & NZ BANKING GROUP LTD 2,966,772 149,581,183 .19 AOF AMP OFFICE TRUST 1,281,880 87,531,486 .14 AOR AURION GOLD LTD 186,117 44,164,913 .04 APN APN NEWS & MEDIA LTD 632,881 43,096,719 .14 ART AMP SHOPPING CENTRE TRUST 210,261 69,439,744 .03 ASX AUST STOCK EXCHANGE LTD 661,969 10,151,876 .65 AUD AUSDOC GROUP LTD 134,670 8,724,266 .15 AXA AXA ASIA PACIFIC HLDGS LTD 605,404 176,243,389 .03 BBG BILLABONG INT LTD 108,439 19,987,006 .05 BCA BAYCORP ADVANTAGE LTD 166,360 22,807,918 .07 BEN BENDIGO BANK LTD 150,332 11,884,790 .12 BHP BHP BILLITON LTD 3,614,133 370,191,079 .09 BIL BRAMBLES INDUSTRIES LTD 3,356,883 96,564,642 .34 BIR BURSWOOD LTD 1,009,930 40,278,441 .25 BLD BORAL LTD. 225,035 57,165,011 .03 BRL BRL HARDY LTD 139,236 17,489,433 .07 BRS BRISTILE LTD 89,000 14,966,604 .05 BRZ BRAZIN LTD 296,033 11,637,678 .25 BTO BT OFFICE TRUST 1,030,937 93,258,439 .11 BWA BANK OF WESTERN AUST LTD 242,985 55,994,615 .04 CAA CAPRAL ALUMINIUM LTD 65,137 6,939,530 .09 CBA COMMONWEALTH BANK OF AUST. 2,565,208 125,292,136 .20 CCL COCA-COLA AMATIL LTD 551,407 68,901,646 .08 CEP CENTRO PROPERTIES GROUP 585,475 38,759,045 .15 CFT COLONIAL FIRST STATE PROPERTY TRU 1,504,921 62,213,547 .24 CLI CHALLENGER INT LTD 177,354 28,738,962 .06 CML COLES MYER LTD. 336,730 118,039,158 .02 COH COCHLEAR LTD 100,970 5,250,014 .19 CPA COMMONWEALTH PROPERTY OFFICE FUND 718,198 61,012,087 .11 CPU COMPUTERSHARE LTD. 3,175,017 55,336,611 .57 CSL CSL LTD 95,214 15,847,049 .06 CSR CSR LTD 660,486 93,618,447 .07 CTX CALTEX AUST LTD 823,956 27,000,000 .30 CXP CORPORATE EXPRESS AUST LTD 100,458 19,061,086 .05 DDF DEUTSCHE DIVERSIFIED TRUST 676,314 90,252,862 .07 DIT DEUTSCHE INDUSTRIAL TRUST 254,474 29,069,507 .08 DJS DAVID JONES LTD 1,061,129 39,816,286 .26 ENE ENERGY DEVELOPMENTS LTD 413,844 10,658,948 .38 ENV ENVESTRA LTD 836,465 70,526,518 .11 ERG ERG LTD 1,520,224 92,774,707 .16 FCL FUTURIS CORP LTD 921,076 61,323,583 .15 FGL FOSTER'S GROUP LTD 105,672 205,634,935 .00 FOA FOODLAND ASSOCIATED LTD 72,525 9,707,056 .07 FXJ FAIRFAX (JOHN) HLDGS LTD 1,323,495 73,490,959 .18 GAN GANDEL RETAIL TRUST 2,371,959 131,019,894 .18 GGL GRIBBLES GROUP LTD () 177,570 42,149,305 .04 GHG GRAND HOTEL GROUP 109,266 18,309,016 .05 GMF GOODMAN FIELDER LTD 1,415,080 124,907,811 .11 GPT GENERAL PROPERTY TRUST 1,243,964 188,987,223 .06 GUD G.U.D. COMPAQ, Fujitsu and Logica Australia have been shortlisted from a field of 18 bidders to develop the NSW Government's $17 billion electronic procurement marketplace. --------------------------------------------------------------------- In national terms, the IT tender is one of the largest and most lucrative e-government contracts available, because of NSW's high Items purchased by Government can range from pencils to a fully operational hospital. --------------------------------------------------------------------- The government is expecting to be able to use its aggregated buying power to gain savings and efficiencies, but it also wants to convince more local process to migrate to the internet. --------------------------------------------------------------------- The Minister of Public Works and Services, Morris Iemma, expects to announce the winning tenderer in June, and has outlined a launch date for the new e-marketplace to be operating in September. --------------------------------------------------------------------- One of the next new services due to be unveiled by the Department of Public Works and Services is iplan, a State-wide framework for electronic planning information services, which will allow electronic lodgement of building and development planning applications. --------------------------------------------------------------------- COMPAQ, Fujitsu and Logica Australia have been shortlisted from a field of 18 bidders to develop the NSW Government's $17 billion electronic procurement marketplace. --------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.swift.com/index.cfm?item_id=41620 --------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.swift.com/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- Logica International LimitedAttn.
