I've been having nightmares since 2005 with this little baby Rougues. :-P :-)
I first purchased at the bargain price of .016 which a nice little 1 for 10 consolidation play quickly turned into 16 cents and then rapidly downhill from there. :-( Oh Happy Days....NOT! :-)
I've been in the fortunate or unfortunate position of being able to average down considerably since then but in hindsight I would have been better off investing that extra cash elsewhere as I now how way too much invested here. :-(
We are of course in a lot better position today than we were back then and I am getting more confident with each week that things are about to turn around and maybe that overinvestment may turn a nice profit afterall.
A million ounces of gold in Indonesia with the very good prospects of a lot more to come. A very positive pre feasibility study to take it forward into a very profitable producing mine and a committment recently to fast track.
You would have thought that alone would have seen the share price bounce to a respectable level.
A little side play in Uranium prospects in Malawi and yes we still have a 1000/1 shot in India whenever the government and justice system over there gets it's act together. These of course are not the current focus and look scheduled to be offloaded when attractive for them to do so which may or may not help funding in the future instead of more dilution.
Personally I think things have changed significantly in recent times with the bloodless coup of directors and chairman. The incoming group are of a different mindset. I think the new players are more attuned to the financial side of things and will eventually get this share price up to a respectable level for a company of this potential. If not for the long suffering shareholders but for themselves as they have a lot more invested then their predecessors. The trade off of course is that if they win then surely we do too. :-)
I still believe this SPP put a little dampener on anything too wonderful happening for a few weeks, aside from any manipulation that I fully expect to see over the next weeks trading of course. :-P :-)
It may truly have been done to try and appease the long termers with a small bonus for their loyalty and raise a little cash at the same time and the trade off was a loss of the momentum we saw building before the announcement.
Once it is over I think we will start to see the full affect of the newbies financial and company marketing expertise and what they can really do for the share price and hopefully make it reflect true value.
Lets hope so for all our sakes.
Good luck to all holders. I think the next few months is going to be very interesting indeed.
Cheers
