On Friday a colleague heard that MTU signed an agreement with the administrators of Commander to purchase their customers and assetts for about $30m. I think this is very interesting as commander continued to trade very profitably month to month under administration - it was the debt buden that got hem down! Now MTU will become a carrier and be the thrid largest in Australia.
As an aside, I wonder what this will do with their agreement with optus?
