Look up Tullow Oil (PLC) using Google and read their latest report.
The GBP well is north of TLW/HOIL block 1 so it is not in any way immediately adjacent. My understanding is that a potential target was drilled by TLW that was similar to other oil bearing targets, but turned out that oil was not present: only water. They believe it escaped to another strata or to the surface at some time in the last million or so years.
I only posted the report to restore reality to some of the far out posters.
If we are very lucky we will do very well, but this investment is not without great risk.
