I thought they were expecting a slightly lesser profit, though by any means a profit is great in this atmosphere. the 625 bales would only be about 25-30% capacity I think, so just can't wait for decent water and production to give a decent season.

It would be great if they could find something else to do with some of the equipment during these quiet times, a lot of infrastructure sitting idle.

I wouldn't mind if they only announce another small divi and use more of the funds for future buyback, it would give more time to accumulate.

One concern I have is what will happen with reduced spending if that means less clothes required, this might push the cotton price lower and it is already low from memory.

Again, just my thoughts but whatever happens, I believe there is a nice future in NAM. Mop.
