zurich, I partly agree in that if you see something trading at a fraction of a cent, like CVI for example, you owe it to yourself to do some investigation of how it got to be so cheap rather than just glancing at it's website and thinking you've discovered a great bargain.

On the other hand, this co's $1 + $1 instalment set-up is, as far I have have ever seen or heard totally unique, and really is as such so much of a trap it should never have been permitted. Surely the folk setting this up would have pondered the liklihood of what could happen. I guess though too, if the company had been a rip-roaring success it wouldn't be seen as so sinister.
