Was reported today that Australis Aqucaulture has gone into voluntary administration, most unfortunate, the company has not been successful in raising sufficient funds to meet its objectives.

IMO the problem has been the high costs with overheads in the US.

All so reported Western Kingfish has seen new interest in the restructuring of its company, the mortality rates at the farm have dropped significantly since the bacteria was identified and addressed, strong interest from a number of interested parties.

Its good to know that Cell Aqucaulture is not exposed to those risks because we are land based, the premium multi-species hatchery is going well, and the first fish are now plate size.

So someone somewhere very soon will be having Barramundi pineapple salsa....
