You still seem to be missing my point phantom, perhaps you should try reading posts a few times before you post a reply. I never said the situation was unique for PESO as it applies to any option. Also selling something is not the only way to trigger a CGT event, giving up a CGT asset is enough to trigger a CGT event but i suspect your tax knowledge is somewhat limited given your responses to date so perhaps you should avoid such areas of discussion.
