they make money out of servicing and building infrastructure not buying them out. With depreciating infrastructure price, this is not affecting Transfield, as the the cost of maintaining them are fixed and the term of maintenance usually long, so the only factor affecting their profit is from the business in US with depreciating US dollar. Suppose US dollar is not depreciating much which is probably the case now as demand for US dollar is getting strong as everyone is flocking to the safe haven money since the financial crisis, I think it is an extreme bargain price now.
