Seems to me that over confidence was at the root of this failure. there was no bfs, and I have to confess that i bought into the idea that a costly bfs was a waste of time and money and that the future could be extrapolated from the past (ie previous mining of the ore body). It's been a costly mistake for me and it continues to trouble me that with what has been learned to date, someone will pick this oeration up for a song, throw another $10 million at it and and enjoy 20 years of profitable mining.
