Its probably a sign of age more to do with remebering things from long a go better than the more recent events rather than not liking change (sigh). I remeber learning that TB was scary and very hard to kill back in the seventies in Microbiology 101. Even then they were touting the fact that the misuse of antibiotics would produce superresistent bugs.
Being trained as a microbiologist did however get me to recognise exponential growth curves from a couple of miles away and I'll just have to appologise to peter and grizzily, I couldn't help but share a lovely example for CST.
