The buyback is to be executed over a 12 month period and they may see this as a short term coup to get some prices lower and lower agerage long term.
Not particularly pleased about it in the short term seeing they where meant to start on the proposed date, but if you look at the opportunity to buy within a 12 month period thye are probably picking their moments.
IMO near the end of this period they will buy on market and push the SP close to NTA and increased market cap.
For those with cash waiting on the side it would make a nice profit buffer with a few weeks or months.
