Not to hijack this thread mucky however I am also really interested in that alternate and green energy sectors.
I recently bought into CFU (relatively good cash position) making milestones and with the production facility to be online by mid next year. All the signs are good, if only they can beat the remaning degredation issue I think they will be a really top co. Go the Aussie know how.
I have also invested in CNX which is and under ground coal gasification co. They have Incitec on board and a understanding with a huge plastics co. Also their tech was developed with the CSIRO and they hold a lot of the companies listed capital.
CNM have some interesting tech (also great aus inventions) however they are further to commercialisation and will probably need more cash. (all be it there founder is seriously cashed up)
ENE have some great assets and are returning a good yield at the moment (methane from rubbish tips into power). They have been rumoured to be selling some UK assets for close to their entire market cap? (Bear in mind this is only some of their assets). Whether they will get them away in this market is another question?
