Stockholm, San Francisco project success combined with newly NSW government released: the State Government's new tender for the smartcard says a second version of Tcard - is unlikely to be readily available before 2014. Note: how they use the word: unlikely, that means perhaps it may be take another several years, 2020?

I get at least one important infomation: that ERG IS REALLY STILL THE WORLD LEADER ON SMARTCARD.

the State Government's tender reveal the Sydney project's difficulity again. what a shame of NSW government! they would rather double their budget, (waste tax payee's money,) and wait another 8,or may be 10 years to implement still the ERG solution. Waktin gone, Imma gone, you guys kill the project just want to show your authority??? Politicians like them, got no idea about of science, but care about their interests. Obviously, ERG should undertake more responsbilities for the project delay,its managemnet team got huge problems. But why NSW couldnot give the final negotiation opportunity to let ERG give big discount, or another kind of penalty. Both side should concede to the project failure, and I believe the final wise litigation result sould be compromising each other.
of course, this is hard decition to be made by the court, but with the new NSW government, with the profile that X00 millions dollars can be saved for NSW tax payee, if compromise, it becomes possible. it depends on how NSW to choose, face? or millions of money for its residents.
